“My family and I moved here in the summer of 2021 after answering the call to ministry. My wife Katherine, who was pregnant at the time, and our children Ruger and Kimber, were welcomed into a loving Christian community. Soon after moving, we were blessed with the birth of our youngest daughter, Zoey.

We appreciate traditional Hymns and Southern Gospel music. Our church has been ministering to the Salem area for over 60 years, and if these pews could speak, they would tell the stories of countless lives and families changed within these four walls. People from all walks of life have found a home at Calvary Baptist Church.

In August of 2023, we opened a self-serve pantry to better serve the community, and offer free Bibles to all. We enjoy sharing the Word of God with both adults and children in the local area. We hope that when you enter our doors, you feel the warmth and love that we have.”
